As the Tha Bar Wa project draws to a close, consortial partner German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation (DSIK) has collated project experiences in a paper called “Innovative Financing Mechanisms for Green Investments in Southeast Asia – Investments for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises''.
The paper seeks to share lessons learned from the project and advance sustainability finance in the region. Between 2018 and 2021, DSIK worked with four commercial banks in Myanmar to establish green lending product lines and bolster bank staff's capacity on SMEs and green lending.
